About Us

Who We Are

Traverse Property Management is focused on maximizing investors' bottom line. Built on 13 years of management experience in the DFW area, we set ourselves apart by making the relationship with owners is our first priority. Having the highest level of trust with the people who manage your most valuable asset is the only way we do business.

Our tax and accounting backgrounds have taught us that it’s all about the details, down to the penny. Many property management companies overlook the little details, or ignore what they perceive as burdensome rules and regulations. That’s not our style. These kinds of oversights can, and often do, lead to increased expense and liability for property owners. We pride ourselves on the attention we pay to details, which sets us apart.

Traverse Property Management’s Foundation is set on the 3 T’s:

Transparency -Trust - Tradition

We launched this company on the premise of treating investors and tenants with respect and not carving outrageous profit centers off both parties. The industry’s standing and biggest complaint is communication. NO RESPONSE IS A HUGE RESPONSE, the way too many property managers operate these days. We pride ourselves on being reachable and responding to you and our tenants in a timely manner, we answer the phone, try us.

Jon Beaman BROKER & OWNERLicense #633421

Jon Beaman, Broker and Owner of Traverse Property Management, has been a licensed Realtor since September 2013 and a Broker since April 2023. Jon started with a large corporate property management company in January 2014 and decided after 7 years of experience in residential property management he wanted to break away from the corporate side of the business. Jon saw a huge need for improved communication between landlords and tenants. Jon decided it was time to get involved with a higher personal touch to provide a superior quality of service hence Traverse Property Management. “I want to bring the property management industry to a new level when it comes to keeping fees at a minimum for tenants, increasing overall retention and reducing maintenance cost/markups for owners to maximize their returns”. This mindset is what sets Traverse Property Management apart from our competitors.

In addition, Jon remains current with the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) chapters and local Realtors. Jon places a strong focus on customer service, as it has been at the core of our company and drives our success. Jon previously served as Director of Sales (2017-2021), Quality Assurance Manager (2015-2017) with an emphasis on business reputation management, responding to reviews placed by the consumer, and as a leasing agent serving the DFW region (2013-2015) for Specialized Property Management.

Prior to entering real estate, he worked as survey crew chief for eleven years for Gorrondona & Associates, and was previously employed at Byrn & Associates Surveying and Engineering, both companies working in civil development and working closely with water districts, municipalities, and the Texas Department of Transportation. This is where the company name Traverse comes from. It’s a surveying term, that means moving from one point to the next.

In his spare time, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, golfing, SCUBA diving, and reading history books and western novels. He is also committed to the community and volunteers at the Tarrant County Food Bank and participates with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
